Impact Art Camp * Impact Leadership Development Camp

The Green Team * BIZ Camp * S.T.E.M.S. * Career Camp

Impact Art Camp:

Program Dates: June 15th-July 31st

Program Locations: ROOTS Academy

Age: 4th-9th Grades

Impact Art Camp will be offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. You will learn and produce projects in photography, music, and graphic design, and you will be able to specialize in the art form of your choice. At the end of the program there will be an art exhibit to showcase your work.

Impact Leadership Development Camp:

Program Dates: June 15th-26th

Age: 7th-10th Grades

Impact Leadership Development Camp will be offered Monday through Friday from 10:00am-4:00pm. You will have the chance to develop your leadership skills through outdoor adventure activities, ropes courses, life skills, rock climbing, and more!

The Green Team:

Program Dates: June 29th-August 7th

Program Location: The Franklin Center of Beaver County

Age: 11-13 year olds

The "Green Team" summer program is being offered Monday through Friday from 9:30am-3:30pm. It is aimed at providing supplemental educational experience and community work experience for 20 local youths (ages 11-13). Community beautification projects and volunteerism compromise your work experience. The program includes an array of classroom and field trip experiences. Activities are designed to challenge students throughout their summer break. And you get a stipend!!!

Biz Camp:

Program Dates: June 29th-August 7th

Program Location: The Franklin Center of Beaver County

Age: 12-16 year olds

Are you a teenager who's ever thought of starting your own business? Biz Camp may be for you! The day camp includes field trips and guest speakers focused on providing students with a solid understanding of business. At the end of the camp, you may eligible to compete for cash awards to fund your business. Biz Camp is being offered from 9:30am-12:30 Monday through Friday. CCBC is also a partner in offering Biz Camp. Come earn while you learn!

S.T.E.M.S. (Science Camp):

Program Dates: June 29th-August 7th

Program Location: The Franklin Center of Beaver County

Age: 12-16 year olds

Science? In the summer? But I don't like science! Let us change your mind! You will spend Monday through Friday afternoons from 1:15-3:30pm performing fun experiments, learning cool science facts, and exploring Pennsylvania's awesome river systems. And you get paid!

Career Camp:

Program Dates: June 29th-August 7th

Program Location: The Franklin Center of Beaver County

Age: 14-17 year olds

Don't know where you want to be after high-school? Let us help you figure it out Monday through Fridays from 9:30am-3:30pm at Career Camp. The Career Camp Summer Program is aimed at helping prepare 15 Aliquippa students ages 14-17 to make career and post-secondary schooling decisions. The program includes an array of classroom, career shadowing, and worksite/college field trip experiences. As well, you will learn the basics of budget, personal management, appropriate attire, interview skills, and résumé, cover letter, and portfolio preparation. Get paid to explore your career options!
