2009 Art and Music Festival Parade
Dear Parade Participant:
On September 12th
The Franklin Center of Beaver
County, (FCBC) formerly Aliquippa Alliance for Unity & Development will
hold its 16th Annual festival in Aliquippa. With Aliquippa Art
and Music Festival, the Festival Committee hopes to build upon the
success of last year’s festival, and is expecting over 5,000 people!
The Festival Committee invites you to share in our successes by being a part of
this increasingly popular community event.
Activities for the event include
multiple stages providing continuous music and entertainment, a juried art
showing, local craft displays, children’s activities, food vendors, a rib
cook-off contest, displays from local businesses, and a parade on Saturday the
12th!
On behalf of the FCBC and the many
other organizations involved The Festival Committee is requesting your
participation in the parade. The parade will kick off the festivities on
Saturday the 12h at 10am. We are looking for strolling
musicians, clowns, floats, military personnel, bands,
motorcycle groups, novelty
cars and any other special interest groups.
